Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a permanent vacancy for a Social Worker to work 4 days per week within a Family Finding Team based in Slough.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker role is £40,829-45,812 per annum depending on experience (pro-rata).
Main duties:
- Undertaking Family Finding social work on allocated cases producing outcome based plans, having regard to the needs and wishes of children and foster carer families
- Writing matching reports and support plans to present to fostering panel
- Completion of Form F assessments and attendance at fostering panel
- Be included in the fostering duty rota system
- Generate leads for potential new foster carers and home from home carers
- Carry out and record placement searches for CYP who need a long term foster placement, taking in to consideration their needs and wishes
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant experience working within a similar role
