Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a permanent role for a Social Worker to work as a Family Court Adviser on a full-time basis within a Public Law Team based in Cornwall.
The salary for this permanent Family Court Adviser job is £38,974 - £43,459 per annum.
As post holder you will work flexibly whether this is in court, at home, in the office or of course, with children and families and provide the technology to enable this. The Public Law Team are involved with cases where the local authority has serious concerns about the safety or welfare of a child and the court requests.
You will typically be involved with the child across an extended period carrying out relevant assessments to understand their needs, wants and feelings, and effectively communicate this to the court through a combination of written reports and giving evidence.

Requirements of the Family Court Adviser:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration - Social Worker
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children’s Services
- Resilient & Organised
- Can work proportionately
- Strong, intuitive IT Skills
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Full driving licence
