Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a permanent vacancy for a Social Worker to work full time based in Richmond upon Thames, within the Family and Youth Resilience Service.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker is £33,948 - £37,722 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure high levels of quality interventions using AfC’s social work practice model, Signs of Safety, agreed
  • quality standards and operating procedures.
  • Represent AfC at operational multi agency and others meetings as appropriate.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that adolescents are safeguarded from harm whilst parents and carers of adolescents are supported in their parenting capacity to protect and nurture them whilst ensuring that the public is protected where youth offending is concerned.
  • Develop and lead a culture of partnership and innovation, so that services are child focussed, flexible and adaptable.
  • Learn from mistakes, share knowledge and challenge existing practice.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
  • Be a fantastic communicator
  • Be a resilient worker, able to work effectively in a team or on your own initiative, taking ownership and responsibility
  • Be confident and competent with relevant statutory and regulatory framework and of an appropriate range of
  • professional interventions
  • Be a solution focussed person with the ability to deal with sensitive issues
