Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to work full-time within a Family and Friends Team based in Croydon.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Summary:
- The team is responsible for undertaking viability assessments, Special Guardianship Assessments, Reg 24 assessments and Form C's for connected carers.
- The role will involve attending court (as special guardianship assessor) presenting cases to Fostering Panel and offering support as a Supervising social worker for carers prior to fostering panel.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children’s Services
- Significant experience of assessing and supporting alternative family carers required.
