What you will do:
- Conduct assessments and formulate care plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and families.
- Work alongside social work colleagues, family workers, an enhanced practitioner, and social work consultants.
- Participate in reflective supervision sessions to continually improve and refine practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including dedicated services such as CAMHS, exploitation workers, and rapid response teams.
- Engage in direct work with children and families, using your wisdom to teach and guide less experienced team members.
- Support kinship carers and the dedicated pre-birth team, ensuring comprehensive care provision.
- Work closely with one point early help and innovative family hubs to provide holistic child and family support.
- Share knowledge and experiences with students and new social workers, contributing to a nurturing learning environment.
