Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Emotional Health and Wellbeing Social Worker to work full-time based in Stockport. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £20.52 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- As part of our small and incredibly supportive team you will carry out a variety of tasks including consultations, assessments and direct intervention work with children and families.
- As a team our support focuses on children in care, their carers and families.
- There will be opportunity to access training across both organisations (SMBC and HYMS) with the aim that our social workers develop and increasing portfolio of clinical skills alongside their social work skills
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Experience of working with complex safeguarding issues around children in care, excellent engagement skills and be passionate about relationship-based social work.
- You will be a reflective practitioner who is creative and keen to effect change for the most hard to reach children and their carers.
