Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Gloucester, within the Emergency Duty Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Cover Adults & Children’s but primarily children’s care.
- Be based in the Emergency Duty Team which is a small team providing an emergency out of hours service to respond to vulnerable adults, children and young people who require an immediate safeguarding response or actions that cannot wait until the next working day.
- Work within a small and supportive team of Senior Social Workers where you will be prioritising effectively and making sound judgement in a variety of challenging situations.
- The Emergency Duty Team works closely with other agencies that also work out of hours both in the voluntary and statutory sectors.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline social work, including experience in children’s care.
- Flexible and dynamic in covering shifts in evenings or weekends.
