Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Lewisham, within the Emergency Duty Team.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £40 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.

Main Duties:

  • Provide an accountable emergency statutory social work service to all service users across the department, to include children, young people and their families/carers, adults and those experiencing mental health difficulties including formal mental health assessments.
  • Be an Approved Mental Health Professional and will be required to undertake the statutory duties of an AMHP.
  • Risk management, personalisation and safeguarding will be key parts of the role including assessment, intervention, case planning and review, appropriate to the work of the team and service unit.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline social work.
