Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Blackpool, within the Edge of Care Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is £30,507 - £37,849 per annum.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- Supporting children to remain within their family wherever possible.
- Ensure that children are protected from significant harm and their development and wellbeing are promoted.
- Engaging children, young people and their families to defuse crises within the home.
- Working openly with families, team members assess problems, develop measurable goals and help the whole family acquire the skills necessary to achieve them.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
