Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Croydon in an Early Help Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32-£35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
- The aim is to where it is safe to do so, support children and families through intensive early help support, enabling sustained and positive change. This will avoid the need for intrusive statutory intervention and provide the right support at the right time.
- The post holder will hold a caseload of children and families with complex needs that would benefit from social work intervention within the early help context, they will be part of the locality team and work alongside keyworkers, intervention and specialist workers and partner agencies to provide coordinated support for children and families.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
