Social Worker – Duty & Assessment, Bury (UK), £39 Hourly, Ongoing
Bury is looking for an ambitious Social Worker to join the Duty & Assessment team with your expertise, energy, and a knack for thinking on your feet. Earning £39 per hour, this ongoing locum position offers full-time hours with the chance to make a real difference in the community. Your role will predominantly be office-based, although there is some flexibility to work from home, except during duty weeks when you’ll be fully based in the office. The ideal candidate will have over five years of qualified experience, particularly in Duty & Assessment, and should be ready to jump into action as soon as possible for a three-month stint.

What you will do:
- Conduct assessments to identify the needs and risks of children within the community.
- Develop and implement plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children identified as at risk.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to provide the best outcomes for children.
- Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings and case reviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring all documentation complies with statutory guidelines.
