Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Duty Team based in Wigan. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is from £32,910 up to £37,890 per annum.
The Duty Service provides an effective and efficient response to children at risk. Teams are supported by experienced Team Managers and Advanced Practitioners who will ensure that you have the training and access to resources that you need to make sure your assessments and interventions are of the highest quality and undertaken in a timely way. This will ensure that children and families in Wigan are offered a safe and trusted response.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Registered with Social Work England
- A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
