Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Social Worker to work full time based in Lewisham, within the Discharge to Assessment Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Social and Healthcare Qualified
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Only some working from home as there will be an expectation to work sometimes in the flow centre at UHL Discharge to Assess
- Must have supervision experience and be able to monitor performance and caseloads undertake safeguarding role
- Understand the guidance pertaining to Acute Hospital Discharge
- Have excellent knowledge of Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
- Be able to do joint visits attend Hospital and D2A Hub be able to demonstrate a proactive approach
- Able to make decisions and be a good team player
