Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Social Worker to work full time based in Lewisham, within the Discharge to Assessment Team.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Social and Healthcare Qualified
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience within Adults' Services
  • Must be fully vaccinated
  • Only some working from home as there will be an expectation to work sometimes in the flow centre at UHL Discharge to Assess
  • Must have supervision experience and be able to monitor performance and caseloads undertake safeguarding role
  • Understand the guidance pertaining to Acute Hospital Discharge
  • Have excellent knowledge of Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
  • Be able to do joint visits attend Hospital and D2A Hub be able to demonstrate a proactive approach
  • Able to make decisions and be a good team player
