Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Continuing Healthcare Team based in Brighton. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- As post holder of this role you will be joining a team of 12 staff that primarily looks after Continuing Healthcare.
- You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing care packages, attending multi-disciplinary panels, representing the authority and assessing if cases still eligible.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Previous experience within Continuing Healthcare and assessment skills
- Good understanding of care act and care packages
