Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Supervising Social Worker to work full-time within a Connected Carer Support Team based in Manchester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- As postholder of this role you will work with carers from the point of initial assessment and temporary approval through to full assessment, presentation at panel and eventual SGO assessment when appropriate.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Must have recent UK experience working as a qualified Social Worker
- Must be experienced in assessing and supervising Connected Carers.
- You must be experienced in managing a varied caseload, have excellent assessment skills, knowledge of fostering regulations and experience of fostering panel.
