Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Social Worker to work part-time (18.5 hours per week) based in Stockport, within the Complex Safeguarding Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant post-qualifying experience in a statutory social work role
- Excellent relationship-building skills, in order to reach out to children and young people to form authentic and trusting relationships with them
- Knowledge of restorative practice and trauma-informed approaches to working with children and their families
- Excellent assessment skills and the knowledge, experience and confidence to work alongside and support locality colleagues where complex safeguarding concerns arise
