Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Trafford, within the Complex Needs Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
The Complex Needs team deliver social work services to this most complex group of children and young people consisting of young people with disabilities and/or complex Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- Work with parents at Child in Need to support them manage the complexity of their child
- Undertake s47's and hold child protection cases~
- Undertake legal proceedings
- Hold a number of Looked After children cases.
- Contribute to Care, Education and Treatment reviews (CETR's), Education, Health and Care Plans and Preparing for Adulthood.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Previous experience working within a similar team is essential
