Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in East Riding, within the Community Wellbeing Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £21.09 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
There will be the covering of the duty system and liaising with a range of colleagues both internally and externally in partner organisations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable people and to support their families and carers to promote independence for the individual as much as possible and to apply the person centred, strengths based approach.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- To undertake Adult assessments under the Care Act 2004 underpinned by the Mental Capacity Act 2005 where appropriate
- Support the Adult Community Wellbeing Team to meet their statutory requirements.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
