Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Londonderry, within the Multi-disciplinary Community & Primary Care Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults' services and be registered with the Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £17.60 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- To work as an effective member of the integrated service delivery team and to develop and maintain close and effective day to day working on a strong multi-disciplinary basis and ethos
- Responsible for the delivery of a range of social work service and interventions within this setting in accordance with the needs of clients and carers
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adults' services
- Experience working with Older People in a formal care setting
- Comprehensive Assessment / Care Management Assessment including Risk and Carers assessment
- Legislation and Policies relating to Care of Older People including Carers and Direct Payment Legislation
- Social Work Interventions
- Vulnerable Adults/Adults in Need of Protection
- Managing Change
- Teamwork / multi-disciplinary working
- Direct Payments Self Directed Support
- Resource Management
