Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time based in Plymouth, within the Children’s Social Work Service.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £40.00 per hour subject to experience (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
The Children's Social Work Service is at the heart of co-facilitating change, with children, with young people and with families. Purposeful visiting to undertake direct work with children and their families is central to their daily work. The service engages in relationship-based practice, getting to know children and helping them to increase their resilience and to feel safer. As a longer-term service area, they aim to work with children and families in all aspects of their journey. They provide stable and confident oversight and support for children in need of help and protection through working closely with our partners in health, education, the voluntary sector and legal sector. Seeing positive change for children, and being a significant part of enabling this, motivates their practitioners to commit to this rewarding area of social work practice.
Frontline positions will also offer successful applicants £100 accommodation allowance per week. There are also the options to work from home some of the week or work flexitime, with part-time/reduced/condensed hours also being considered. PCC have committed to responding to CVs and interview feedback within 24 hours.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Previous experience within a frontline social work children’s social work service
