Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Tewkesbury, within the Children’s Safeguarding Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £41 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Home working opportunities are available where the Social Worker will be able to do their administration work from home but will need to be in the office on duty days as in line with the needs of the service. Gloucestershire County Council are committed to ensuring Social Workers are supported to carry out their roles, so an expenses package for accommodation and/or mileage up to £100 per week remains in place.
Main Duties:
- Hold a caseload of children and provide an effective, evidence-based intervention with consideration of timeliness and impact. The caseload for this team will be a mix of CIN, CP and CIC, which includes some court work with a caseload of 18.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Previous experience within frontline children’s social work.
