Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Children's Locality Team based in Guernsey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Once arriving on the island, they will be subject to a 14 day isolation period. This will be at a hotel and their 3 meals each day will be brought to their room. This is full isolation so I cannot leave the room, they will be paid for the 36 hours each week for time spent in isolation.
The weekly charge for the hotel whilst in isolation is £175.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- 3 years' experience of working with long-term child protection and assessment work
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
