Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Dorchester, within the Children Locality Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
The role includes a mixture of working from home, undertaking community visits to children and their families, but office space is also available.
Main Duties:
Work with Children in Care to build strong relationships with children through direct work, promote permanence, consider reunification where safe to do so and strong care planning to promote positive outcomes.
Work with partner agencies to improve health and education outcomes for our children in care.
Undertake community visits to children and their families.
Work with CIN, CP and CIC teams.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Previous experience within frontline children’s social work.
Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle to undertake visits across county and out of county.
