Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Barnstaple in a Children's Initial Response Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £38 per hour dependent on experience (Assignment rate). £100 accommodation allowance per week, if more than 60 miles one-way from the proposed work base - this is payable from day 1 upon production of VAT receipts.
Duties:
- Initial response cover
- S47 assessments
- Single assessments
- Visits
- Good report writing skills
- Taking cases to icpcc
- Taking cases to first hearings completing SWETS care plans and viability assessments
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Must be a car driver
