Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within Children's Frontline Services based in Herefordshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £27.43 per hour (assignment rate).
Summary:
- Your role will be to supervise and support foster carers. The service has been able to develop a range of schemes and will support your professional development. We are committed to ensuring our team provides high quality placements with foster carers and kinship carers. As postholder of this role you'll be experienced in assessment skills, mediation and supervision roles to help recruit, train and support Herefordshire foster carers.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current Social Work England registration
- A minimum 1 years' experience within Children's Services
- Experience of working with multi agency partners and with children who require safeguarding
- Child-centred and strengths based approach to practice and have well tested assessment and report writing skills
- Practice knowledge of "Working Together" and be familiar with Child Protection policies and procedures
