Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Children's Assessment Team in Lambeth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £27.62 - £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage complex cases loads of families who present with various needs
- Undertake S47 investigation single and joint with CAIT police
- Attend legal planning meetings to determine if threshold has been met for care proceeding or to work within the PLO process
- Undertake risk assessment of Domestic Violence victims using various tools such as the Barnardoes and DASH risk assessment
- Undertake risk assessments of young people who present with complex mental health issues of self-harming, suicidal ideations
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Knowledge and experience in Care Proceedings and PLO
