Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Children with Disabilties Team in Dorset (Flexible working from office/home/community). The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35 per hour (assingment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
About the role:
- The Children who are disabled team have three teams covering Dorset working with children and young people who have life limiting conditions, severe learning or physical disabilities or autism which impacts on day to day life.
- The Children who are disabled team work with children and their families to assess and plan packages of support as well as assessing and planning around any safeguarding issues.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Previous expereince
- Experienced Social Workers required for the Children who are Disabled team
- Experience of safeguarding and/or children who are disabled will be considered
- Must have access to a car to fulfil travel requirements
