Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Bexley, within the Children with Disabilities Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is £32,517 - £41,934 per annum.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- Social Workers within the Children with Disabilities Service have a varied caseload of Children in Need, Children subject to Child Protection Plans and Looked After Children. We keep children and Young people at the heart of our work. We listen to children, respect their views and champion their rights ensuring that each child's voice informs all our work.
- We use Signs of safety as our practice framework and this helps us to strengthen relationships with children, young people, families and our partners. We work closely with our Health, Education and Social Care colleagues in supporting the children and young people we work with. The Service works closely with our multi-agency partners to develop person centred Education and Health Care Plans.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
