Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Dorset in a Children Permanence Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate). It is a 3-month contract.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- Working with children in care who have agreed permanence plans and supporting reunification to family care where assessed as being in the child's best interests.
- You will be completing visits to children and duty cover will be required within the community.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Must be able to drive and have access to a car
