Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time based in Greenwich, within the Children in Need Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial1-month contract.
Duties:
- Undertake cases independently and demonstrating an ability to adapt the approach from first principles to deal with more complex or unusual case, assessing and managing risks appropriately
- Work with children and young people, families, carers and communities to help them express their needs and make informed decisions and contribute to service planning
- Work with Children and Families under a Child in Need and Child Protection Framework
- Building effective Relationships
- Maintaining boundaries and demonstrating emotional resilience
- Working with families under Pre-Proceedings and Care Proceedings
- Carry out assessment, deliver and advocate support
- Risk Assessment, analyses and make judgements
- Problem Solving
- Case Recording
- Multi-Agency Partnership working including sharing and obtaining information and chairing and recording meetings
- Team Work
- Contributing to Supervision and continued professional growth
- Ensuring recording to an adequate standard
- Maintaining professionalism
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children’s Services
- Show a knowledge of law and policy
