Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work part-time in West Berkshire, within the Children in Need Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Positions - 3 days per week (would consider 2 days)
Duties of the Social Worker:
- To cover a post which will be case holding low level CIN cases who have had a parent carer needs assessment.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Children in Need experience is essential
- Good assessment skills and thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures and thresholds.
