Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time based in Cambourne, within the Children in Care Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £32.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
During the Covid 19 Pandemic, hybrid home/office working is taking place and face to face visits with children and young people and their parents/carers are risk assessed first. After school visits are required and at times out of county travel. A contribution towards travel and accommodation expenses subject to negotiation. The role is initially for three months with the possibility of being reviewed for extension.
Duties:
Deliver effective frontline services that safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
Ensure regular reflective supervision
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Previous experience within frontline children’s social work
Experience of undertaking statutory reviews and visits, supporting placements, contacts, working with parents and carers, court work with children and their families to assess and manage risk and achieving good outcomes for the children.
Full driving licence with access to own transport (although Cornwall Council Pool cars are bookable)
