Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in a Children in Care Team in Northampton.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £38 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month ongoing contract.
Accommodation allowance - £150 per week if above 60 miles.
Duties:
- Carrying out Looked after Children reviews
- Ensuring Child Protection procedures adhere too
- Working with cases in care proceedings
- Undertaking risk assessments
- Undertake Life story work with children to address emotional contact needs and to achieve permanency
- Attending family group conferences
- Undertake direct work with children
- Preparing reports and presenting them to panels
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Looked after Children experience
