Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to work based in March, within the Children in Care Team.

The pay rate for this locum Senior Social Worker role is up to £37 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 13-week contract.

Interviews are being undertaken via MS Teams. CCC is working flexibly and working from the office on a rota basis/as required for meetings, normally one/two days per week/as agreed by the Manager.  Face to face visits continue to be undertaken.

Main Duties:

  • Caseload will be predominately working with CIC 0-18 - working with children and young people placed in foster care, residential, considering reunification to parents and family members.
  • Attend meetings, complete CIC review paperwork, care plans and PWP's, completing assessments, carry out statutory visits in and outside of the Cambridgeshire area.

Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline children’s social work.
  • Available to start as soon as possible.
