Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Darlington, within the Child Protection Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Carry out core assessments, pre-birth assessment, and risk assessments.
- Carry out Section 47 Child protection investigations.
- Write statements for court, complete Section 7 and 37 reports for court, and represent the authority in court to give evidence.
- Carry out home visits for monitoring purposes and to safeguard children.
- Keep up to date case recordings.
- Convene and chair core group meetings, liaise with other professionals, and carry out joint investigations and interviews with the police.
- Initiate and see through care proceedings, implement and review Care Plans, and supervise contact.
- Complete Child in Need plans.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline children’s social work.
