Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Symes House in a Child Protection Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £31 - £35 per hour (Assignment rate). It is a 3-month contract.
About the role:
- Bristol are creating an additional team in the South Area Service. The service works with Children in Need, Children needing Protection and undertakes Court Work.
- Over the last year we have reduced numbers of children on a child protection plan, numbers in care and the teams work hard to help families make changes and avoid statutory intervention
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
