Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Social Work Practitioner to work full-time within a Child Protection Team based in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- The post holder will work in the office on a rota basis blended with some home working however home visits are required as part of the role.
- PPE will be provided.
- The post holder will be working in a small team of six social workers and caseloads are currently between 18-22
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Three years of statutory experience in children and families
