Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Child Protection Team in Penzance. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job depends on expereince. The role is initially for three months with the possibility of being reviewed for extension. During the Covid 19 Pandemic, hybrid home/office working is taking place and face to face visits with children and young people and their parents/carers are risk assessed first.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
The successful candidate should have experience of statutory social work with children and families
The candidate should be able to drive and have access to their own transport, although Cornwall Council Pool cars are bookable
