What you will do:
- Conduct thorough child protection assessments and develop tailored care plans
- Manage a varied caseload of children and families requiring intervention and support
- Partner with families, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to ensure children’s safety and well-being
- Participate in child protection conferences, case reviews, and court hearings, providing professional reports and recommendations
- Offer crisis intervention and support for children at risk of harm, abuse, or neglect
- Ensure adherence to UK legislation, including the Children Act 1989 & 2004
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
- Collaborate with foster carers, adoption services, and residential care teams
- Promote early intervention strategies to prevent and reduce risk
