What you will do:

  • Conduct thorough child protection assessments and develop tailored care plans
  • Manage a varied caseload of children and families requiring intervention and support
  • Partner with families, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to ensure children’s safety and well-being
  • Participate in child protection conferences, case reviews, and court hearings, providing professional reports and recommendations
  • Offer crisis intervention and support for children at risk of harm, abuse, or neglect
  • Ensure adherence to UK legislation, including the Children Act 1989 & 2004
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
  • Collaborate with foster carers, adoption services, and residential care teams
  • Promote early intervention strategies to prevent and reduce risk
