Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Social Worker to work full-time in Lewisham, within the Child Protection Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32-£35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children’s Services
- Experience of long term work covering CIN, CP and Court work
- Ability to write clear, analytical reports
- Ability to present information in a range of meetings in a clear, concise and respectful manner
- Ability to work effectively with partners in other agencies
- Good knowledge of legislation, policy and procedure
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to use line management appropriately to manage risk
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to participate in the duty
