Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Social Workers to work full-time within a Cared For Children's Team based in Crewe. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for these locum Social Worker roles are £26.82 per hour (Assignment rate) and are initial 3-month contracts.
Summary:
- This Post holder will be working with children's long term permanence plans, including foster care, residential work, adoption, permanence and care planning in line with the care planning regulations.
- Care proceedings and court work will also be held within the team.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services.
- Knowledge and experience of care planning.
- Experience of working with cared for children.
