Sanctuary Social Care is looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work within an Assessment Team based in Luton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 - £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Carrying out Initial Assessments
- Initiating Care Proceedings
- Carrying out assessments under the single assessment framework
- Writing reports for initial child protection case conferences
- Writing initial court statements
- Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes and to safeguard Children
- Chairing meetings
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
