Social Worker – Assessment Team – Exeter UK – £38 Hourly – Ongoing

What you will do:
- Conduct Child and Family Assessments to determine the level of support or interventions required by children and families.
- Undertake section 47 Child Protection enquiries to ensure the safety and welfare of children.
- Work collaboratively with children, young people, and families to develop tailored support plans that promote stability and well-being.
- Liaise with multi-agency teams to effectively coordinate and implement care plans.
- Participate in court proceedings as needed, providing detailed and professional reports.
- Be present in the office five days a week during duty weeks and three days during non-duty weeks to ensure timely support and intervention for children.
- Engage with peers to model good practice across the service.
