Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent job vacancy based in Essex for a Social Worker - Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP).
The salary for this role is £38,400 - £46,475 per annum, depending on experience.
This is a great social work opportunity as it offers the chance for flexible working with condensed hours into a 4 day week.
You may be required to work beyond normal operating hours in accordance with the demands of the service but in return you will have flexibility built in to your working week.
The Approved Mental Health Professional has a unique position in ensuring compliance with the statutory functions imposed upon the Local Authority by the Mental Health Act.
The service is responsible for undertaking the AMHP rota meeting the needs of the population and assessing people during periods of crisis in their lives.
You must have a degree in social work, be registered with Social Work England and have previous experience working as an AMHP.
