Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work within an Adults Team based in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £24.49 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract. The hours for this role is a Start at 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 4.15pm on Friday but Flexible 35 hours a week. Some days may be required to work unsocial hours to meet business needs.
Duties:
- To provide information to service users and carers regarding services, resources and welfare benefits, legislative entitlement and other relevant matters.
- To sign-post to other agencies where appropriate Undertaking Safeguarding and doing duty on rota basis Home visit and completing reviews To work with other team members and multi-disciplinary team members from other agencies to meet the needs of vulnerable adults.
- Follow Birmingham City Councils policy and procedure.
- Required excellent competency with IT skills.
- To maintain documentation and electronic systems on social work activities in accordance with approved policy and procedures. Supporting Colleagues with EAB process Able to work autonomously
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience within Adult Services.
