Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work based in Lambeth, within the Adults Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £28.60 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Provide Urgent Response service to prevent service user's from being admitted into hospital.
- Provide Rehab and Reablement to service users in the community.
- Work at a fast pace under pressure, being competent in carrying a caseload and working in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Complete essential face to face visits in the community (PPE is provided).
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- At least two years post qualification experience in frontline social work, preferably including Adults and Older Persons Physical Disability, hospital discharge, community neuro, or other multidisciplinary team working experience.
- Have an excellent working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, safeguarding and other complex requirements that occur when dealing with service users and their families.
- A good working knowledge of MOSAIC would be an advantage.
