Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work part-time within an Adults Team based in Staffordshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Supervising and supporting the professional development of social workers, students and non-social work qualified staff on the team as identified by the Operational Manager
- Responsibility for the allocation of work based upon priority and capacity within the team and service
- Manage unpredictable daily changes to work pattern, using initiative to organise daily duties whilst adhering to SCC policy and procedure to meet service demands seeking guidance from operational managers when required
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adults Services
