What you will do:

– Triage incoming safeguarding referrals, assessing whether they meet the threshold for enquiry.
– Determine the next course of action to address risks involved and complete Section 42 safeguarding work.
– Formulate protection plans prioritising the needs and voices of service users.
– Collaborate with various professionals, families/carers, and external agencies to secure the best outcomes.
– Respond confidently to complex scenarios and crisis situations, including self-neglect and domestic abuse.

This role requires a Social Worker with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in a safeguarding role. Your expertise will be invaluable as you lead efforts to protect and empower service users, making every day a chance to create positive change.
