Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for Two experienced and dedicated Social Workers to work full-time in Mendip, Somerset in the Adult Safeguarding Team. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker jobs are £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Mainly Working From Home and carrying out essential visits.
- Responding to all adult safeguarding contacts into SCC from across Somerset.
- Taking part in triage decision making and undertaking section 42 enquiries for people who need a safeguarding response.
- Working with our partners and producing protection plans.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
