Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within an Adult integrated neighbourhood team in Manchester.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £26.68 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Social Workers in line with Council policy
- Work with health and social care managers to support system flow at the hospital - this includes collaborative working around Delayed Transfers of Care (DToC) and Length of Stay (LOS)
- Promote and represent the Council throughout Manchester Foundation Trust
- Work strategically with partners to deliver Council services/pathways in line with the Manchester Local Care Organisation and Council Vision and support the Integration Agenda
- Carry a small, complex case load
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult's services
- Adult Care experience
